Setting up a live event using Adobe Flash Media Live Encoder

You can also steam Live Events using Adobe Flash Media Live Encoder. In order to do that you have to access "Live Events".
After accessing "Live Events" press the "Create New Live Event" button.



A new window will be loaded in which you can setup your live event. You will have the following options:
- Event Name: the name of the event
- Event Type: Audio or Video (only video available at this moment)
- Event State: Active or Inactive. Active if you want people to see this event or Inactive if you want to stop streaming this event.
When you are done press the "Save" button.

Now your event is listed in the "Live Events" table.

Before publishing this event you will have to setup Adobe Media Encoder.
First you will have to download and install from Adobe - Adobe Flash Media Live Encoder desktop software.
Configure your digital camera to work with Adobe Media Encoder. Supply Origin Server Address and Event Key for this session.


The live stream running on Adobe Media Encoder
is ready.

Now all you have to do is to publish the "Live Event".
To do this you have to go with the mouse over the event you want to publish and press the "publish" button.

Once you play the publish button a window will be loaded where you will have to select the player that will be used to publish this event.

Select the player you want to use and a new window will be loaded. In this window you will the embed code for this event. Copy and paste the code somewhere in a site and you are done.
